No matter where your playing your game - in Chicago, L.A., Boston, or any one of the 30 Major League ballparks - your field converts easily. This not only looks good, but it further enhances your gaming experience by using accurate wall distances and heights so that your game is true to the stadium you're in.
In Roll Saga, there are many ways to play: from advanced levels which involve deep strategy to faster games full of non-stop action.
Master Level: 2 Players.
Pitch-by-pitch mode is used to really delve into deep baseball strategy by playing out each action and play. As manager, you will use the full power and prowess of your pitchers on the mound to outsmart and outplay your opponent.
Advanced Level: 1-2 Players.
Still deep strategy, but without the pitch-by-pitch mode, the game moves a lot faster and focuses on resulting player actions instead of specific actions.
Simulation Levels: 1-2 Players.
Use Simulation Levels to speed through parts of games or even whole seasons.
Each pitcher has his own repertoire - his own arsenal - that's based on his real-world knowledge. If he knows how to throw it in real-life, he can throw it in Roll Saga under your management. There are 17 Pitch Cards: From 2-Seam Fastballs to the elusive and dynamic Japanese Shuuto. They're all there and ready for you to use in game play. Just select the cards that correspond to the pitcher's aresenal that you have on the mound, decide where you want to throw it, and let it go. Three easy steps: Grip (choose a pitch), Set (target a zone), and Release (roll the dice).
Bat for power, hit for speed, or bunt. Let it go or swing.
The choice is yours. The options that a real batter faces
are the same options and techniques you'll use in Roll
Saga.
Have your runner play off base and go for the steal on a pitch. Each player token illustrates that particular player's running speed just as his skill-sets reflect what running skills - like stealing - that he may have.
Example shown: P. Polanco of Miami at bat with T. Welke as plate umpire and CC Sabathia on the mound.
In Roll Saga, hitters and pitchers don't get all the glory! Position players are accurately rated on their proficiency in the field as well, so how and where you use them in your franchise can make all of the difference. And not only are position players graded according to their fielding ability, but also their throwing ability.
Included in all Game Boxes (Core Box):
28 x 28 inch Premium Game Mat |

Undoubtedly one of the key features of Roll Saga that puts the game in it's own separate class is the use of Player Skill-sets. Players can have special skill-sets that accurately reflect their true-life abilities in certain areas that set them apart from other players and make their athletic specialties unique.
These skill-sets go above and beyond their standard abilities.
Over 60 individual and specific skill-sets are used in Roll Saga Baseball - covering everything from Stealing, Sliding, Clutch Hitting and Double Play Turning to Power Hitting, Place Hitting, Bunting, and Managing Under Pressure.
Thousands of hours of research has been performed to ensure that these player skills are accurate and that they make Roll Saga the very unique and realistic game that it is.
